The Challenge
Xylem needed to replace “Xylect,” an outdated system used to select and evaluate industrial water transport products.
The BIG challenge was not just modernizing the tool, but aligning diverse global business units, technical stakeholders, and product lines under a unified selection experience—each with competing priorities and legacy workflows.
I led the effort to define the product UX/UI vision and bring teams into alignment utilizing a series of international workshops, benchmark UX testing and several rounds of usability testing. Over two years, we delivered a WEB + mobile-friendly platform that simplified the selection and purchasing experience across Xylem’s portfolio.
